Helping women since 1995, the goal of the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) is to improve the health of women through screenings, early detection, and timely treatment.
For those women who do not have insurance, IBCCP offers free mammograms, breast exams, pelvic exams and Pap tests. Women who have insurance, but have a high deductible that must be met before diagnostic procedures are covered, may qualify for IBCCP benefits up to the amount of their unmet deductible. In addition, if a woman has already been diagnosed with cancer, she may qualify for financial assistance for treatment.
The Livingston County Health Department is proud to be a recipient of the Susan G. Komen Memorial 2019 Mammograms Save Lives License Plate Grant. This award has been used to purchase gas cards for women needing assistance with transportation to/from breast health appointments. Give us a call for more information!
